Back in 2001 I took a series of Wilton Cake decorating courses at the local craft store. I found frosting to be a fantastic medium for taking my 2 dimension design skills to a 3 dimensional format. I rarely use fondant, focusing primarily on transforming butter-cream frosting into custom cake creations.
Most of the cakes I make are ordered by friends and their families. Over the years I have come to thoroughly enjoy being a part of family traditions and celebrations. My cakes come in a wide variety of flavor combinations. Each cake design is one of a kind and never duplicated.
Let me first say-I love cake… obsessed! I also love working with frosting as a medium. I am going to be decorating a cake for my friend’s birthday in a week, and your photos give great inspiration!
