It’s that time of year again, when the fridge is too full of CSA veggies and the pickling must commence. Last year’s selection of bread and butter pickles pickles, dilly beans, and garlic dill cukes received fabulous reviews from family and friends so my mother and I decided to stick with the same recipes and on Saturday we pickled a total 0f 7.5 quarts of pickles.
These are quick refrigerator pickles and do not get hot water processed. This means they must be kept in the refrigerator and have a shorter shelf life. But that’s OK, they never last long.
