We took a road trip to upstate New York this past weekend to visit family and friends. I love to bring the kid’s hand-held game system for long car rides; it keeps the requests for snacks and arrival time updates at a minimum.
The one problem is she has too many games and she is ALWAYS misplacing the cartridges.
I decided to use some leftover scraps of flannel and wool felt to create a fun holder. She loves it and was excited to use it the entire trip. Not once did we have a panicked “Mom! where is my game?” shouted out from the back seat.
Next on the to do list, a matching tote bag to hold the game system itself.
